The Birth of Hillbilly Inferno!

Howdy Y'all!

It's been a long time but I thought I'd get ya back up to date on what I'm doing.

I've been having a fun time recording the demo for a new project I have going with some other awesome Colorado musicians, Hillbilly Inferno. We're still trying to figure out our sound, but it's promising and we're having a good time messing around with some traditional songs with some new twists. We're playing everything from classic folk songs to classic funk songs to stuff from the Indian (from India) tradition.

We did an impromptu jam of David Grisman's "EMD" that you can hear on our site at HillbillyInferno.com. This is the first time I've played this song! And I get to teach my comrades songs like "Testify" (Parliaments). It's a diverse brew, all acoustic so far but we will also be going electric. Lots to come.
